About us
Chemistry for Life Science
The Laboratory of Chemical Bioscience (Hosoya Laboratory) is located in the Institute of Biomaterials and Bioengineering (IBB), Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU). Our research is based on organic synthesis and aims to develop molecular probes and pioneer methodologies that enable the elucidation and control of life science phenomena. In particular, we focus on “highly reactive chemical species” to create new methods that can immediately solve cutting-edge research problems in the life sciences from the viewpoint of organic chemistry.
